ABOUT
My story is stitched together with time, tradition, and a relentless pursuit of craftsmanship. My great-grandfather was a shoemaker in southern Italy, and though I never met him, I carry his legacy in my hands.
I was born dyslexic, which meant that words on a page never held my attention the way textures and materials did. My hands understood what my mind sometimes struggled to grasp.
I tried studying fashion design at the Politecnico di Milano, but the rigid structure of academia never fit me. Instead, I sought knowledge in places where creation was a necessity, not just an art. In the south of Italy, I learned the language of leather—the way it bends, breathes, and takes shape under patient hands. But I knew that if I wanted to master my craft, I had to step further into the world.
I traveled to India and worked for three years in a shoe factory—without pay, but rich in experience. There, I saw the weight of true craftsmanship, where skill is passed down like an heirloom, and perfection is not a choice but a duty.
From India, I moved to Thailand, where I found myself designing and sewing garments in a Buddhist temple for the people in the south. My hands, once guided by instinct alone, now carried the discipline of tradition.
Europe called me back. I returned to Italy, to Prato, where I worked in a shoe factory, refining the techniques I had collected across continents. But I needed more. I needed my own path.
Holland became that path. I arrived with a vision, with hands that had traveled the world and a heart set on creating something of my own. I began designing and crafting bags, each one a reflection of my journey, each stitch a mark of time. And then, my atelier was born—a 100-square-meter space in the heart of Amsterdam, across from the Queen’s Palace.
Here, I do everything myself. There are no employees, no rushed production. This is craftsmanship in its purest form—what I call slow craft. My customers wait because true luxury takes time. Each bag is designed in the moment, inspired by whatever moves me that day. No two pieces are ever the same. That’s the beauty of it—every bag is a singular creation, shaped by my hands, infused with its own soul, never to be repeated.
This is my way of making, my way of honoring time, patience, and the art of things made to last.
